Something Interesting in Her Past

I did a little digging this afternoon and after googling "short blond doll" (don't do this, you won't get the desired results) I came across the above image. It seems that my own little sister was once in the Tennessee State penal system. Oh yeah, and the reason that she wouldn't tell me her name is that it's "Bubba". Well, at least that's what I'm calling her now that I've seen this. I don't think she minds it though, in fact she seems to think it's a fitting name.

Even Babies Have to Eat

As I was eating lunch today it struck me that maybe my own little sister might be hungry. So I scrounged around in her diaper bag and emerged victorious with a sister sized bottle. I immediately held it to her mouth so she could eat. Mommy and Daddy just watched, they seemed to think it was cute, but I think that she was just hungry and I seemed to be the only one who noticed! She seemed to be a lot more fun today too. She is cuddly and drinks from her bottle and I like her new BLUE outfit. I still haven't gotten her to tell me her name. I think I may have to give her one for the time being. I'll let you all know when I do.

My Own Baby Stuff

I told Daddy that I really liked having my own stroller, but it would be cooler if it wasn't pink. So Mommy found all this awesome jungle stuff! I love the new stroller too. It's heavier and doesn't fall over when I'm pushing it which means I can run even faster with it! I even have a high chair and a swing and a car seat and a pack & play! I really like having my own baby stuff.

Just Strolling

Mommy took this move of me strolling along. I like to run as fast as I can when I push the stroller. I think she likes it too.

My Own Little Sister

We were at the store today and I found a stroller that was just my size! Since I love pushing Mommy and Daddy's stroller so much, I thought one that's my size would be even more fun. So after I had been pushing it all around the store, Mommy and Daddy decided to get it for me. They also got me my own little sister to push around in it! It's a lot of fun and I even like to make car noises while pushing it around.

A Wild Ride

Daddy mopped the floor today. I thought it was lots of fun to push the bucket around after him. This went well until I accidentally dumped the bucket... Daddy said it was ok, and put a towel on the ground. "Sit in this now Aleric." he said. I look at him, unsure about whether or not I should comply. "Please, just sit down. You'll like it man!" he said. Well, it is Daddy, so I sat down. That's when he started to run around the kitchen through all the puddles! At first I was a little nervous but man, lemme tell you something. Puddle running is fun. You should really try it sometime. Sure, your bum gets a bit wet. The floor however ends up dry so you don't slip, and Daddy will just give you a new diaper anyways. Don't tell Daddy, but next time he mops I'm going to dump the bucket again. Oh, I'll make it look like an accident and look all sorry and ashamed after I do it, but inside I'll be laughing because I know it means more puddle running!

This is my newest and strangest mode of transportation yet! Magic carpet? Pah! This is a magical towel!

Bubbles Blowing Bursting *Pop*

I spotted a magic wand today. I told my dad I would like to play with it so he lifted me up and helped me get it down from the top of the cabinets. That was fun by itself, but it go even better when he let me blow bubbles with it! I actually decided to speak a little bit of English and say "Can I blow bubbles?" so Daddy would know I meant it. He just looked at me, slightly surprised, and said "Uhh... Yes you can!" and promptly handed me the wand. I just mimicked what I had seen Daddy do the last time he used the wand. He blew onto it and then the bubbles came out the other side. Believe it or not, it worked for me too. I was thrilled, I really like blowing bubbles. I hope Daddy will blow bubbles with me again soon.

For the last week, Mommy has been making the trip down to the mail box even though it's hard for her to walk right now. I couldn't figure out why until her eyes lit up today as she pulled out my shiny new monster shoes! These are more than just shoes. These are speed boosting, endurance enhancing, finely tuned running apparatuses. I've been wearing them around all day today just to get the feel for them. Daddy calls this the break in phase, just like he had with his motorcycle, but he said I can really lay some rubber at the park tomorrow! I can't wait!
