Costumes

Chinchilla!! Or something. I may actually be a rat. I'm not sure. It doesn't really matter though because I am wearing it, not classifying it.

This is a leopard skin. It is one of my favorite costumes. Big cats are pretty and fast, but I hear they don't like fire.

Basketball

In this shot, I am learning to put the gorilla stance to good use. It's fun but boy do I hate waiting in line.

Mystery Airplane

I made a lego airplane. At least that's what everyone thinks. I'm sad in this picture because Daddy wants to borrow it so he can document it.

See, no one remembers building it except for me. I'm not even sure of that myself though. Regardless of who built it though, it is mine to play with and enjoy!

Sitting at the Park

We went to the park today and Auria found a bench to sit on. I'm not sure how I missed it before but we sat and relaxed for a while in between sprinting around the park.

Street Toys

"She's gaining on me!!"

"CRASH!!!"

Mommy said "Pick a toy to play with." So I picked my motorcycle and Auria chose the buggy. It turns out that with Daddy under the hood, that buggy is a lot faster than my motorcycle. If you watch the crash video closely you can see the DAD (Daddy Active Defense) system in action, ensuring that no harm came to the occupants of the buggy or the other vehicle involved in the crash.

My Rocket Ship

Below you can see my new rocket ship. It came in the mail with some stuff inside but once we took the stuff out it was ready to fly. Daddy gave us some markers to decorate the ship with and we promptly flew to the moon and some of the nearer stars.

"Pre-launch photo op"

"Hold on tight Auria, that is an asteroid belt up ahead"

"Is that a cow?!"

"We seem to have landed in a debris field Auria, walk with caution."

These photos are just some of the highlights of our trip to the moon and that really bright star (Daddy said it's name is Polaris).

Gadgets

Daddy seems to really enjoy having a lot of really fun toys. Most of them play movies and games. He was even nice enough to give me his old PSP but now Auria is old enough to want one of her own. Mommy came up with the idea to let her use his old iPod. That was such a good idea that I wanted to trade her for it. I let her use my PSP and she gave me the iPod. It has a LOT of movies on it and even though it has no sound, it is still fun to watch. The PSP only has backyardigans right now.

Basketball!!!!

Yesterday I got to go play basketball in the morning. We left before Auria and Anti-Shannon were even awake which was fun all by itself. We soon arrived at the gym and the moment I walked in I saw all the other kids running around like a bunch of fighter jets so of course I joined them. We ran around for about 15 minutes then the coaches showed up to teach us some new moves. I learned the gorilla stance ("RAAAAWRRRRR") and how to bounce pass a ball. I even learned how to dribble. Right around the time I was going to learn how to dribble, I had to go potty so Daddy and I raced around the entire area looking for a potty. On the way there we were joined by a group of parents and kids looking for the potty just like us. Luckily we were the fastest and didn't get stuck waiting in line. It's a good thing Daddy takes me running. My favorite part is running. My least favorite part is not running. That is, waiting in line. So if I could play basketball with lots of running and no lines, it might just be the most fun thing I've ever done! :)

Umm... Guys?

Centipedes

Mommy was out on a walk with Auria tonight and Daddy and I were playing Patapons together on our PSPs when Mommy called Daddy to tell him that a HUGE centipede had just crawled into our neighbors garage. Daddy didn't know where a flashlight was so he asked me and I ran and got one out of the drawer so that we could find the centipede. I had never seen one before but Daddy said they are pretty cool as long as I keep my distance. He threw me on his shoulders and away we went to find ourselves a centipede. Luckily Mommy had done a great job of monitoring the creature's position for us while we were preparing for the hunt. The neighbors who owned the garage where the beast was hiding showed up just as we were about to find it with the flashlight I brought so we showed them where it was to prevent them from being bitten. I learned how to say centipede and that they eat beetles and other bugs. I learned that they are a bug and that if you go out at night you should watch your feet so they don't get you. Mommy thinks they are gross. Daddy and I think they are cool from a distance. Daddy even suggested that we get a prisoner centipede (he says they aren't pets, just captives) and feed it beetles and stuff. Mommy shut that idea down.

Pretzel Poses

Auria and I were itching to be photographed so we convinced Mommy to take these two shots this morning.

Pajama Party

Mommy's Mommy sent us really cool pajamas for Easter and she asked Mommy to get a picture of us all wearing them. These images document Daddy's struggle to capture our cuteness on camera. Baby Brother wanted nothing to do with the impromptu photo shoot but Auria and I were having a lot of fun.

In the photo above, I am eating my cookies. Can't you see them? They are delicious and I eat them all the time. It's amazing that I keep as thin as I do with as many cookies as I eat.

Self Portraits

Daddy was trying to get some pictures of Baby Brother today but I really wanted to play with the camera so I stole it and snapped these of myself before he reclaimed it. Mommy thought they were good enough that I should share them both with you.

Bo Handsome

Awhile back I was practicing the word handsome. At that time I just repeated the sounds but wasn't sure what it meant. Well, Mommy took this picture today and Daddy tells me that this is the definition of handsome. I'm still not sure I know what it means. I'm hoping you guys can explain it to me.

Easter Eggs!!

We started out with dyes in all the colors I already know but I learned quickly how to use those colors to make brand new ones that I had never learned. Coloring eggs is a lot of fun and I really wish that I could do it more often than once a year. Maybe I will try to talk Mommy into heading down to buy more colors so we can do this again soon...

Potty

So I've been peeing in the potty for nearly a month now and I've got to tell you, not having a heavy diaper weighing me down when running and jumping is SOOO worth the price of being required to find a potty to when I need to relieve myself. Auria has noticed my new speed and jumping prowess too and decided she would like to try. I wish her luck, but she doesn't appear quite ready yet. Noticed how confused she looks despite my best efforts to explain things to her.

My Camera

Mommy and Daddy got me a camera of my very own so that I can snap pictures. As soon as I figure out how to get them out of the camera I will post some of my masterpieces to share with you all. My primary subjects are Daddy, Mommy, Auria and Baby Brother. Occasionally I catch a glimpse of the rare and elusive Shannon too.
Aside from my photography aspirations I have a back up plan of being a cheese ball. Every body loves cheese right?

Yeah! No New Sheets!!

Last night I decided that I would not wear a pull-up while sleeping. Mommy and Daddy said I could but that I had to hold it so that I wouldn't need to change my sheets. I woke up dry as can be but man did I have to go. Luckily, Mommy and Daddy have placed a potty conveniently outside my door so I didn't have to waddle very far.
