Fun in the fountain

So I hear it's really cold where most of you live. I decided to share some pictures to show you how warm it is here. I was at the park with my friend Lyric when we found this really neat spot with water shooting out of the ground. That was when we decided to explore this new find and cool off a bit in the process.

Some Pictures to Enjoy

Cookie Decorating

The other night, I got to go to my friend Lyric's house. It was a ton of fun because I got to decorate cookies with him. Well, at least it started out with us decorating cookies but soon we discovered that the frosting was the real draw to decorating so we started to eat the frosting off of the cookies. Then we figured out we could eat the frosting right out of the tube. It was all over then. We couldn't sleep until around 12am. Sugar has a way of keeping people of our age up late, especially in the high concentrations found in pure frosting.

Trucks in Odd Places

This morning I was looking for my blue chevy pickup. This is where I found it. The way I see it, these two were driving along looking for somewhere to stop for breakfast when the guy figures out he's lost. Well, not lost so much as temporarily misplaced right? So his wife keeps telling him to stop and ask for directions but being a man, he refuses and this is where they ended up. Close to breakfast but they stop just short of the table top.

Just Like Christmas

Thanks to little sister's powers of persuasion and recent stay at the hospital, I got to rip into some of those presents that have been taunting me from under the tree for the past week. This is what I found inside.
This is my crash 'n dash car. This thing is sweet. I shake it up then set it down and off it goes! When it hits something it blows up and I have to find the spoiler. I really like this one.
Well, Daddy always said not to pick my nose and ride a motorcycle at the same time. Guess this is why, it's too distracting.
Daddy caught me trying to practice my stoppys. I wish he hadn't, I've almost got those things down.

rain storm laughs

I never knew a drive in the rain could be so much fun.

My Baby Sister

I was wondering where my baby sister had gone to these last few days. Mommy finally took me to where she's been hiding. Turns out she was at the hospital just like Daddy said.

Ants

I see these little crawling black bugs all over the place and Daddy will never let me play with them. I was hoping one of my readers would be able to tell me why. They seem so small, what could they possibly do?

At The Park

I'm at the park with Daddy and Isabella right now. Daddy stole my bink to take a picture so I'm not that happy at the moment. That and I miss Mommy really bad. Daddy tells me she's at the hospital with my sister but I don't care where she is, I want her here with me.

Aleric the Rock Star!

Here I am showing off my singing ability. I was having a great time with my new friend Lyric (Yeah, the names get confusing sometimes). He was on the drums and I was singing, our Daddies were both on the guitars.

Lyric wanted to try his hand at singing so I traded my mic for a set of sticks. It was a fair trade if you ask me. I love to drum, I really get to act like a rock star on these things. Recently I got to play with Daddy's Guitar Hero 4 drum set. I like that one a lot better. It just feels more realistic and the drums have a nicer bounce, good for those really fast drum rolls. :)

A story

So I have a story to tell you. I was sort of being a stinker one night and Daddy asked me to pick up all of my cars. Well, there were lots of cars, but also some trucks and a bus. So I just picked up the cars. Daddy laughed and told me to pick up all of the trucks now. So I did, but I left the bus, after all, buses aren't trucks are they? Daddy thought this was hilarious so I thought I'd share with you all.

Nanananananananana Bink Boy!!

I've been living a lie for far too long. I think it's about time that I come clean with everyone. I'm sure you've seen stories about the heroic Bink Boy in all the tabloids lately, doing things such as saving little sisters from untimely poopy diapers and finding lost sippy cups in chaotic toy boxes. Many have wondered who this handsome and mysterious little man was, well I'm here today telling you that it is me. In the past I kept my identity secret to protect those I love, but after recent events involving an unlucky paparazzi, it has become necessary to tell the world.

I got to ride Daddy's motorcycle!

Dad met us at the park after work today. He showed up on his motorcycle and it looked so cool that I wanted to try it too. Daddy told me that in order to ride I needed the proper protective equipment. That's when I got to wear his helmet and gloves. It was fun but the helmet sure gets heavy!

My New Baby Sister!

A few days back Mommy and Daddy disappeared for a couple of days. They told me they were going to get my little sister from the hospital, but I didn't know what that meant to me until they got back. I was lucky and my Grandpa Rollie and Grandma Janelle kept me company while Mommy and Daddy were busy getting Auria.
When they got back I sure was glad to see them, but they were holding something, or should I say someONE. She is a cute little girl with a really loud cry that tends to make me a little crazy if I don't have my bink. She has a bink too which I like to give to her if she is crying. Mommy thinks that's cute. Sometimes Mommy and Daddy let me hold her on the couch. I really like to do that, it makes me feel like a big brother.

Mommy taught me how Eskimos give kisses. Daddy told me they rub noses because where they live it's so cold that their lips could freeze together if they kissed like we do. I was holding Auria and she started to cry, so I gave her Eskimo kisses, it made us both happy and she stopped crying.

My Cars

Mommy and Daddy have gotten me tons of cars to play with. I love to sit in Mommy's big black spinning chair and line up my cars. Daddy always messes up my perfect lines to push the cars around, but from what I've seen of cars they mostly sit around in lines with people getting angry inside of them. So that's what my cars do too only without the angry people.

Earth movers

I was out for a leisurely stroll this morning with Dad and I spotted this magnificent yellow truck under someones table. It was love at first sight for me and while I was busy playing with it, Dad got busy with negotiations for its' purchase. Soon Dad gave me piece of green paper and told me to give it to the man he had been talking to. I did that and then we returned home with our prize. The only problem with this new truck is Daddy and Mommy won't let me bring it inside.

Monster Shoe Races

Some people like going to horse races. Some people like watching NASCAR. Me? I like monster shoe racing. You can catch a great race in the above video. I think it's a good thing Daddy told me to place my money on Righty, he seems to win more often than not.

My Own Superbike

My Grandpa and Grandma got me a superbike of my own tonight. It was pretty late but there was now way I was going to stay inside when I had such and amazing new ride. I see Daddy riding on his bike all the time and don't tell him I said this but I think mine is better. His only has two wheels and mine has three, not mention the fact that his doesn't even have pedals. First thing I did was take Grandpa out for a ride. He seemed to have a good time.

This was me. I wasn't happy. Not even sure why Daddy took this one. He had just taken my new bike away so he and Grandpa could tinker with it a bit. I didn't want them to tinker with it! I wanted to ride it!

Thought you might enjoy watching me ride my new bike. I know I enjoy riding it.

An Evening With My Best Friend and Great Grandpa

Here we are on the back porch just lounging in our chairs sucking on some pediapops. These are my favorite dessert. Me and Isabella had a lot of fun hanging out in the back yard today with my great grandparents.

Here we are sitting on the porch swing with Grandpa. This guy sure know how to relax. I think he's even better at napping than I am! That's really saying something because when I put my mind to it I can nap for 4 hours. Isabella really like him too.

Song and Dance

The other day my great grandparents gave me a singing duck. He's a really good singing duck, even if he only knows one song. He even taught me a dance to go with his song and I have upload a demonstration video for anyone who might want to learn it so they can join me when they come to visit. I starts out slow but gets more interesting pretty quick so be patient. After I danced with the duck a few hundred times, he seemed to get tired. He started singing slower and stopped flapping his wings when he sings. I think I tuckered him out.

A Happy Day

Tonight when Daddy got home we went out to the NEX. I wasn't very happy because I was tired, but it turned out to be a very good thing. Mommy found this awesome train and road set for me! I guess Christmas came early this year. I wonder if that means I won't get anything for Christmas. Nah! Mommy would never let that happen.

Something Interesting in Her Past

I did a little digging this afternoon and after googling "short blond doll" (don't do this, you won't get the desired results) I came across the above image. It seems that my own little sister was once in the Tennessee State penal system. Oh yeah, and the reason that she wouldn't tell me her name is that it's "Bubba". Well, at least that's what I'm calling her now that I've seen this. I don't think she minds it though, in fact she seems to think it's a fitting name.

Even Babies Have to Eat

As I was eating lunch today it struck me that maybe my own little sister might be hungry. So I scrounged around in her diaper bag and emerged victorious with a sister sized bottle. I immediately held it to her mouth so she could eat. Mommy and Daddy just watched, they seemed to think it was cute, but I think that she was just hungry and I seemed to be the only one who noticed! She seemed to be a lot more fun today too. She is cuddly and drinks from her bottle and I like her new BLUE outfit. I still haven't gotten her to tell me her name. I think I may have to give her one for the time being. I'll let you all know when I do.

My Own Baby Stuff

I told Daddy that I really liked having my own stroller, but it would be cooler if it wasn't pink. So Mommy found all this awesome jungle stuff! I love the new stroller too. It's heavier and doesn't fall over when I'm pushing it which means I can run even faster with it! I even have a high chair and a swing and a car seat and a pack & play! I really like having my own baby stuff.

Just Strolling

Mommy took this move of me strolling along. I like to run as fast as I can when I push the stroller. I think she likes it too.

My Own Little Sister

We were at the store today and I found a stroller that was just my size! Since I love pushing Mommy and Daddy's stroller so much, I thought one that's my size would be even more fun. So after I had been pushing it all around the store, Mommy and Daddy decided to get it for me. They also got me my own little sister to push around in it! It's a lot of fun and I even like to make car noises while pushing it around.

A Wild Ride

Daddy mopped the floor today. I thought it was lots of fun to push the bucket around after him. This went well until I accidentally dumped the bucket... Daddy said it was ok, and put a towel on the ground. "Sit in this now Aleric." he said. I look at him, unsure about whether or not I should comply. "Please, just sit down. You'll like it man!" he said. Well, it is Daddy, so I sat down. That's when he started to run around the kitchen through all the puddles! At first I was a little nervous but man, lemme tell you something. Puddle running is fun. You should really try it sometime. Sure, your bum gets a bit wet. The floor however ends up dry so you don't slip, and Daddy will just give you a new diaper anyways. Don't tell Daddy, but next time he mops I'm going to dump the bucket again. Oh, I'll make it look like an accident and look all sorry and ashamed after I do it, but inside I'll be laughing because I know it means more puddle running!

This is my newest and strangest mode of transportation yet! Magic carpet? Pah! This is a magical towel!

Bubbles Blowing Bursting *Pop*

I spotted a magic wand today. I told my dad I would like to play with it so he lifted me up and helped me get it down from the top of the cabinets. That was fun by itself, but it go even better when he let me blow bubbles with it! I actually decided to speak a little bit of English and say "Can I blow bubbles?" so Daddy would know I meant it. He just looked at me, slightly surprised, and said "Uhh... Yes you can!" and promptly handed me the wand. I just mimicked what I had seen Daddy do the last time he used the wand. He blew onto it and then the bubbles came out the other side. Believe it or not, it worked for me too. I was thrilled, I really like blowing bubbles. I hope Daddy will blow bubbles with me again soon.

For the last week, Mommy has been making the trip down to the mail box even though it's hard for her to walk right now. I couldn't figure out why until her eyes lit up today as she pulled out my shiny new monster shoes! These are more than just shoes. These are speed boosting, endurance enhancing, finely tuned running apparatuses. I've been wearing them around all day today just to get the feel for them. Daddy calls this the break in phase, just like he had with his motorcycle, but he said I can really lay some rubber at the park tomorrow! I can't wait!

Every Journey Begins With a First Step

We went to the Byodo-In Temple today. It was quiet and peaceful there... until I arrived! I got to chase doves and fish for HUGE coy with my hands. There were some little brown birds that landed on Daddy's hands to eat fish food. I think they were confused. In this quiet place of wisdom, I learned that every journey worth making, begins with a first step. I just didn't know there were so many that followed... and they were ALL UP HILL!

Silverware

Lately I've been thinking. Mommy and Daddy use silverware, Mommy and Daddy are big people. Since my ultimate goal in life is to be a big person, I figured using silverware is as good a place to start as any. I'm not sure Daddy's decision to start me off with blackberry yogurt was the wisest, but Mommy made him clean up the mess anyways so it wasn't my problem. This experience made me wish I had taste buds on my face, but Daddy told me that would look pretty weird. Anyways, the path to being a big person is obviously going to be a long and messy road.

Breaking Free

I recently noticed that something was weighing me down. When I lose my balance, I fall. When I climb upstairs I have to work extra hard and when I let go of my food it ends up on the floor. I decided to ask Daddy why all this was happening to me and he told me about something called "gravity". In the following video you can see my preliminary experimentation with this strange and powerful force. If I find out more I will keep you all posted.

My New Video Game!!!

I love playing on computers just like Daddy, so he made me a game that I can play. It's lots of fun and I never know what is going to happen next! Sometimes there are fireworks, sometimes bears growl or horses neigh at me! It's a ton of fun, just don't take it away. Mommy says maybe Daddy shouldn't get me hooked on video games at such a young age. I don't know what she is talking about.

Bubbles

Daddy showed me a strange phenomenon today, he can produce these little glowing spheres that float through the air in a seemingly random fashion. They make a small 'pop' when they hit the ground and they taste bad if I catch one in my mouth. I don't know anything else about these strange little things. I hope to continue my research with Daddy at some future date.

Me and Dad Get some PT

Dad was doing some push-ups in the living room and I thought I would join in. Thing is, I got hungry and took off into the kitchen to get a bite to eat.

I wasn't hungry anymore but I thought Daddy could use some encouragement this time. I wanted to see how many he could do!

My Inner Artist

These last few days I've been working on drawing out my artistic side. Mom and dad keep on pestering me by taking pictures, I was telling dad to give me some space so I could finish this one when he took this picture. You're asking yourself how I can talk with a bink in my mouth aren't you? Well, let's just say I've had lots of practice.
I'm asking Mommy's opinion on what color to make the rabbits ears in this one. I thought they should be blue, since every bunny I've ever seen had blue ears, but that's when Mommy told me that real bunny ears are furry and are pink inside. I didn't think that made much sense, so I made them blue. I figured the grass was already going to be pink, so I shouldn't use too much of the same color right?

My Parents Being Silly

IMG_0321

They kept on talking like pirates and putting their legs up on things so I had grandma record the moment so I could analyze the odd behavior later. I will get to the bottom of this, mark my words.

Looking At the Ocean

IMG_0123

I'm hard to miss when I'm at the beach, and man do I like the beach. Here I am sporting my ocean jumper and orange sun cap.

Peek'a'Boo

I'm cute! I just got done with an awesome hike up to a waterfall. It was great.
