Drawing Dragons

Daddy was busy today so I drew a dinosaur for myself. Here it is for you viewing pleasure. I'm really beginning to get this hand eye coordination down.

GREEN MAN

I kept telling Mommy that I wanted to be a green man. Then she found me this costume and made it real! It's even better because the green man gets a green hat and Mommy said that she is going to paint my face green on Halloween. Baby Brother is a space man and Auria is a cowgirl. Those are cool costumes and all, but I would much rather be a green man.

Umm... Avynn? What is this spaceman maneuver that you are using? Did Auria teach you this?

Random Pictures

This is my tongue. I fear I inherited the short tongue from Mommy's side of the family!
Halo is awesome. Too bad that's not what we're watching here. Daddy was playing Civilization Revolutions because Halo is too violent for me to watch.
This is me at my workbench. I love playing with Legos just about all day every day. I can build airplanes, tunnels, mountains, houses, boats, swords, dragons... Well come to think of it, I can build anything!

A Bench Too Small

Mommy found this seat in the closet the other day and ever since Auria and I have been fighting over it. For the sake of peace and quiet in the house I let Auria share it with me in these photos.

It would have been a lot nicer if it were a two person seat. It's ok though, she's not that heavy.

Ok, I lied. She's heavy... Get her off please!!

Heart Walk

Today we went on a Heart Walk. I didn't know what that meant but Mommy told me that her friend had a little baby boy who's heart wasn't healthy when he was born. He is almost a year old now and so we all joined this Heart Walk to make money that can help other little babies like Christian.
Christian's Mommy is really nice and gave us all party hats and stylish sun glasses to wear. We all got balloons too. This really was a birthday celebration!

Short Hair!

I just wanted to show everyone that I finally won. I got a haircut. It looks much better this way. It was a bit of a task getting it done because the lady made me look like Leonard Nemoy as Spock the first go round. Daddy made her cut it again which is why it looks a bit of kilter. I will not be going there again.

Late Night

Not much to say about this. Mommy and Daddy stayed out too late. I wanted some cheerios and I fell asleep halfway through the bowl. They apparently thought it was cute because when I woke up I found these pictures. Great.

Beach Park

We all went to a beach park party today. All of Daddy's work friends were there, some even brought their children. Here I am playing in the water with Kam's son. We got along really well.

I stole this magazine from Kara. She didn't seem to mind though. Ellen helped me set up the towel that I am sitting on in the shade. I was tired so they helped me set up a bed to sleep on.

Daddy took me to the potty a few times, I guess he was caught mid march in this shot.
That stuff on my face is all that's left of what was once a great cupcake. :D

My costume!

This Halloween is looking like its going to be fun! We have a theme going for all of us. Can you guess what it is?

Funny Thoughts

The other night I was looking at a picture book with Daddy and saw a lioness. I asked him what it was and he told me it was a lion then asked what I should do if I see a lion.

"I would run away!"

"Good idea, they're strong and fast Aleric."

"But I would get a stick and I would put fire on it then I would come back and hit the lion's back and it would run away because it is afraid of fire!"

"Hmmm... that just might work son."

Then two days ago we went to the beach. I decided to test my daddy's commitment to my wellbeing.

"Daddy if you lost me in the water would you cry?"

"Of course Aleric. I would cry forever!"

"Forever ever ever ever ever?"

"At least that long man!"

"Daddy... if I lost you in the water I would just go in and get you..."

As you can see, I am a man of action!

A Wedding

I got to go to my first wedding tonight. It was a lot more fun than I expected. When the music kicked on I just wanted to dance so I ran over, asked Bella's Mommy if I could dance with Bella and then dragged Bella onto the dance floor. I think that might be the most fun thing ever!
We were learning all sorts of dance moves from the big people. My favorite was the electric slide and swing dancing. Those were almost as much fun to watch as they were to do!

Bellows Beach

The waves were a bit big this time at the beach but the sand was very nice. I spent a lot of time exploring and digging in it.

When we got back to the cabin there wasn't much to do, but as long as I've got Legos I am set. These men got trapped in the mountain desert while looking for dragons.
Hmm... I think I need a haircut. I've been telling Daddy that for weeks but he seems to think it looks cute this way. I disagree but he's the one with the money so oh well.

4th of July

We went to Pearl Harbor for the 4th of July party again this year. It was even more fun than last year because Auria is big enough to really play with now. We got to jump in bounce houses, play with swords, catch duckies and lay on a blanket while the sky exploded. All in all it made for a pretty nice night.

Costumes

Chinchilla!! Or something. I may actually be a rat. I'm not sure. It doesn't really matter though because I am wearing it, not classifying it.

This is a leopard skin. It is one of my favorite costumes. Big cats are pretty and fast, but I hear they don't like fire.

Basketball

In this shot, I am learning to put the gorilla stance to good use. It's fun but boy do I hate waiting in line.

Mystery Airplane

I made a lego airplane. At least that's what everyone thinks. I'm sad in this picture because Daddy wants to borrow it so he can document it.

See, no one remembers building it except for me. I'm not even sure of that myself though. Regardless of who built it though, it is mine to play with and enjoy!

Sitting at the Park

We went to the park today and Auria found a bench to sit on. I'm not sure how I missed it before but we sat and relaxed for a while in between sprinting around the park.

Street Toys

"She's gaining on me!!"

"CRASH!!!"

Mommy said "Pick a toy to play with." So I picked my motorcycle and Auria chose the buggy. It turns out that with Daddy under the hood, that buggy is a lot faster than my motorcycle. If you watch the crash video closely you can see the DAD (Daddy Active Defense) system in action, ensuring that no harm came to the occupants of the buggy or the other vehicle involved in the crash.

My Rocket Ship

Below you can see my new rocket ship. It came in the mail with some stuff inside but once we took the stuff out it was ready to fly. Daddy gave us some markers to decorate the ship with and we promptly flew to the moon and some of the nearer stars.

"Pre-launch photo op"

"Hold on tight Auria, that is an asteroid belt up ahead"

"Is that a cow?!"

"We seem to have landed in a debris field Auria, walk with caution."

These photos are just some of the highlights of our trip to the moon and that really bright star (Daddy said it's name is Polaris).

Gadgets

Daddy seems to really enjoy having a lot of really fun toys. Most of them play movies and games. He was even nice enough to give me his old PSP but now Auria is old enough to want one of her own. Mommy came up with the idea to let her use his old iPod. That was such a good idea that I wanted to trade her for it. I let her use my PSP and she gave me the iPod. It has a LOT of movies on it and even though it has no sound, it is still fun to watch. The PSP only has backyardigans right now.

Basketball!!!!

Yesterday I got to go play basketball in the morning. We left before Auria and Anti-Shannon were even awake which was fun all by itself. We soon arrived at the gym and the moment I walked in I saw all the other kids running around like a bunch of fighter jets so of course I joined them. We ran around for about 15 minutes then the coaches showed up to teach us some new moves. I learned the gorilla stance ("RAAAAWRRRRR") and how to bounce pass a ball. I even learned how to dribble. Right around the time I was going to learn how to dribble, I had to go potty so Daddy and I raced around the entire area looking for a potty. On the way there we were joined by a group of parents and kids looking for the potty just like us. Luckily we were the fastest and didn't get stuck waiting in line. It's a good thing Daddy takes me running. My favorite part is running. My least favorite part is not running. That is, waiting in line. So if I could play basketball with lots of running and no lines, it might just be the most fun thing I've ever done! :)

Umm... Guys?
