A mess, a tree and a fish faced boy

Everyone has been asking Mama about this picture. Short story? I didn't have a leaky diaper. I was trying to drink from Mama's soda when my lip sprung a leak and it got all over the couch. No one saw it happen so I figured I'd try to clean it up so Mama didn't make Daddy do it. They caught me putting all of the used tissues back in the box when I was almost done. At least they knew I tried.

So this is a case of Daddy not paying attention. We were playing around on the far side of this huge gnarled tree and Daddy thought it would be fun to climb with me. So up we went. The tree grabbed my shoe and wouldn't give it back so in a panic I pulled my foot out of my shoe. Daddy called Mama to take a picture and that's when she told him about the sign you can clearly read in this picture. Needless to say, we got down pretty quick, but not before Mommy took the picture.
Mama! I just saw the fishes making faces like this at each other. What does it mean?
Well, I'm just cute and this is my "Mama, you're the best mama in the world, so can I please have a cacka and some chee and ju?"

At least, the instructions say that the max capacity is two. Mama thought otherwise. I tried to tell her that it was a little crowded but our sad faces tell the truth, it was a lot crowded.

Our new ride

These are our new wheels. I like to snuggle up next to sister with my Lightning McQueen blanket and go for long rides with my Mama and Daddy.

Look Who's Talking

So I know for those of you that only know me by my writing abilities, it's hard to believe that I haven't yet mastered speaking. This movie just shows you that I am making progress very quickly since I hit the official age of Big Boy on the 8th of March. Mommy and Daddy kept bugging me though so I had to put a stop to it when it got in the way of my cars.

Sister was looking lonely in her lounge chair so I cozied up next to her and hammed it up for the camera.

Birthday presents

I got some really neat birthday presents this year. This fine truck specimen came with a yellow hard hat to protect my brain and it makes noises when I press on the hood.

I wouldn't have believed this was possible if I couldn't hold it in my hands. I don't remember meeting Mr. McQueen but here we are together on a plate! I have a new favorite plate.
Isabella got me this sand and water toy. It's really fun to push the boats around the water but putting the sand into the boats with the crane is kind of hard.
I think the truck is my favorite toy tonight.


Daddy likes to eat breakfast with his laptop to check his mail, now I can learn check my letters too, this one even has games!

This was just one of many little birthday cakes I got this year. I had at least three different flavors of cake, but only this one had a candle.

My day with Daddy

This morning I woke up and had waffles with Mommy and Daddy. That was a great way to start what turned out to be a great day. After breakfast we watched backyardigans, which is my favorite movie second only to cars. After that I fed the bunny some carrots then got on the back of Daddy's bike and we went down to the barber for a new haircut so I can woo grandma with my good looks when she gets here in a few days. Once I was looking sharp (I gave my barber a tip because she gave me a sucker and let me sit on Daddy's lap while I got my haircut) we took off to get some jamba juice! I love jamba juice. While we were dancing to the jamba juice music and sipping on our strawberry smoothie I noticed a bag of chips and asked Daddy for them. He got them for us and we shared the bag, they were very good. After that we met Mommy at the pet shop and got me some fish! I love watching fish, they are so cool. So after the fish I went home and took a nap. Sounds like a perfect day to me!
